As reported by Reuters yesterday, a proposed merger has been announced between 1,600 attorney Holland & Knight, and 300 attorney (nine offices) Thompson & Knight.  The merged firm would operate under the Holland & Knight name and brand.  Several legal industry forecasters are predicting this hugely significant merger would be the first of many to come over the next 12 months.

COVID brought merger discussions to a grinding halt in March 2020, but it looks like talks are beginning again and reasons for merging remain a strong strategic focus for firms of all sizes. Read more >>>
